Additional Drivers
All drivers must meet the same minimum age and driver’s license requirements as the renter.  The additional driver fee is 123.97 ARP per rental for each additional driver, plus tax.

    • Bariloche – Cash accepted – must call (54) 2944-422482 direct between 0900-2000 to qualify. Reservation must be booked 24 hours in advance and the rental must be a minimum of 1 day.
    • Cordoba – Cash not accepted
    • All Other locations – Cash accepted. Customer must qualify upon arrival. For additional information call (54) 11-4311-4555 between 0900-1900. 


Travel Vouchers:  Budget and Budget honored vouchers are accepted as payment. Customer must also present a Budget honored charge card.


Debit Cards: Not Accepted

 

Taking your vehicle outside the Country
Argentina borders Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Travel into Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay are not allowed.

 

Travel into Brazil and Chile have the following requirements:
    • 7 day advance request reservation required.
    • A copy of passport and driver’s license is needed in advance to process travel into another country. Please email to reservations@budget.com.ar.
    • The vehicle must return back to Argentina.
    • Reservation must include customer’s intention to drive into Brazil or Chile.
    • Reservation must include telephone number or email address to confirm that customer’s border crossing has been approved.

Fuel Charges
The vehicle is rented with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank of gas or there will be a charge for refueling. If you have refueled please keep your receipt for verification purposes. Check with the counter for prepaid gas options.

 

Delivery and Collection
Delivery service is available with a fee to the airports below. For delivery of the car to the airport the reservation must include the airline, flight number and arrival time. The customer will be met in the arrival lobby by an officer of the company wearing a Budget uniform and carrying a Budget sign with the passenger name. If flight number is not included in the reservation, the customer will need to call the location directly or take a taxi to the location to pick up the vehicle.

Ski Racks (SKR): available on request at some locations for 82.64 APR per day.
Snow Tires: available on request at some locations with no charge.

We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
